Join the Aurora Art Department's Leaf Umbrella Project, where every Aurora ​student can design and create their own unique, functioning umbrella. This ​project is a fantastic way for students to express themselves artistically, ​explore various themes, and collaborate with peers.
Why Participate?
- Open to All: Whether an art student or a curious mind, dive into creativity!
- Explore Themes: From "Childhood Memories" to "Everything Art", channel your ​inspiration.
- Collaborate: Partner with peers and mentor Middle School students.
Commitments:
- Attend studio sessions and mandatory events.
- Share progress in our Google Classroom.
- Support school fundraisers.
- Engage in community-building activities.
Highlights:
- Flexible Mediums: Use fabric markers, paint, spray paint, and more.
- Engagement: Meetings on Thursdays, 2:30-3:30 PM.
- Celebrate Creativity: Awards for Best In Show, Fan Favorite, and Staff ​Choice.
Umbrellas will be displayed, offering you a chance to inspire future artists. Let's ​create a colorful canopy of creativity together this year! 🎨🌂
